Our Story
A Decade of Legacy, United in Vision
Both photography and cinematography have evolved beyond mere hobbies—they are powerful forms of visual expression and modern lifestyles. Recognizing the growing need for a dedicated space for appreciation and education in visual arts, Liga Fotografi & Sinematografi (LFS) FEB UI was officially formed in 2015.
Our roots, however, run much deeper. LFS is the proud evolution of two legendary student organizations that stood side-by-side for more than a decade at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia:
LiFo (Liga Fotografi) – Dedicated to capturing the essence of the world through still frames and composition.
PerfEk (Perfilman Ekonomi) – Focused on bringing stories to life through motion, sound, and cinema.
Today, united as one creative force, LFS FEB UI continues to provide a comprehensive ecosystem where students can learn, deepen their technical skills, and showcase their visual masterpieces.
Vision
Become a place to associate students of FEB UI who have an interest and ability in photography and cinematography, in addition, to facilitate the development and training of these talents.
Mission
- To educate and develop the skills of both active and passive members of LFS FEB UI
- Actively participate in various occasions regarding photography and cinematography
- Become Faculty of Economics & Business, Universitas Indonesia’ representative in producing photos and films
- Build a good relationship with other photography and/or cinematography organizations.

Studi Banding
An official institutional visit to leading creative agencies, production houses, or media organizations. This program focuses on observing professional workflows and studying technical and managerial aspects essential to the visual arts industry. We absorb real-world best practices.
Script Writing
A specialized technical training program dedicated entirely to the art of screenwriting. Participants dive deep into the pre-production phase learning how to construct compelling story arcs, write authentic dialogue, and format industry-standard scripts for powerful cinematic storytelling.

Our premier public photography webinar and panel discussion. Designed for broad audiences, this online event brings in renowned external industry experts and professional visual artists to share their insights, breakdown techniques, and discuss the latest trends in the creative landscape.
